Sharron J. Fowler

Ron Fowler, 84, of New Port Richey passed away December 3, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Ron was born in Belleville, IL on May 23, 1933. He was the son of the late Russell and Helen Fowler, beloved husband of Susan Prescher Fowler, dear father of Karen Fowler (David Pease), stepfather of Sandi Christie Gustke (John) and Gary Prescher, loving grandfather of Kenneth Coffman and dear brother of Jack Fowler (Diana). Ron was an avid “car guy” who built his first hot rod in high school. He restored a 1948 Mercury coupe, a 1933 Ford coupe and was recently working on a 1952 Chevy pickup truck. He also enjoyed scuba diving, bowling and spending time with his cats. Ron will be dearly missed by all. A celebration of life will be held Saturday December 9th at Morgan Funeral Home, 6025 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34653. Family will receive friends from 1-2 PM with a service following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity or church.
