Ruth L. Elliott

Ruth, L. Elliott, 81 of New Port Richey died October 11, 2017. She came here from Live Oak, Florida. Born in Lewistown, PA to Charles and Elizabeth Ayers. She worked as a civil servant with the Navy Department, Selective Service System, Corp of Army Engineers and General Services Administration prior to her retirement. On March 30, 1957 she married William A. Johnson, CPO, USN, deceased April 20, 1965. On May 5, 1973 she married Frank R. Elliott, deceased November 30, 1999. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Seven Springs. The Suncoast Ladies Club of West Pasco, the Ladies Auxiliary of Unit 79, American Legion of New Port Richey and the Ladies Auxiliary of Unit 1754, VFW, Huntingdon, PA. She was an avid bridge player and book lover. While survived by no immediate family she leaves dear nieces, nephews and cousins as well as cherished friends.
