Ronald S Fitchko

Ronald S. Fitchko 75, of Palm Harbor, FL passed away peacefully on January 25, 2022 with his wife and son by his side. He was a kind and gentle man full of love and friend to all he met. Those who knew him well will always remember his joyous laugh. He is predeceased by his son Todd and survived by his wife of 49 years, Janet. He was a wonderful father to his daughter Dana Fitchko, son Shawn Fitchko and daughter-in-law Jessica. A loving “Granddad” to Zoe and Kynzly. As the “Big Brother” he had a loving and close relationship with his surviving siblings Kathy Lively, Karen Fawver, Bob Fitchko and Jim Fitchko. Formerly of Canton, Ohio. He was an Army veteran. After leaving the military he worked and retired from IT business sector. He enjoyed reading, watching football and travel. Ron loved Florida and was an avid swimmer, swimming 1-2 miles a day. The pool at Innisbrook seems so empty without him. And the world was changed forever on January 25th. A memorial mass will be held 9:30 am, March 12, 2022 at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2757 Alderman Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34684 In lieu of flowers or planting a tree you may donate to your favorite charity in his memory.
