Ron was a dedicated individual who served his country with honor. He spent eight years in the Navy and 19 years in the USCG reserves. His commitment to the military was unwavering.
In his civilian life, Ron dedicated 25 years to the Nestle Company, where he excelled in his career.
Outside of work, Ron enjoyed golfing and cooking in his free time. Those who knew him appreciated his wit and his ability to bring laughter to those around him.
Ron will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 63 years, Carol A. Dunlap, daughters Sherrie Byrd and Bonnie Dunlap, son Brian Dunlap, grandchildren Christopher Perez, Alex Dunlap, Hailey Byrd, Eric Dunlap (Tiffany), Austin Brisset and partner Destiny, Jayme Langley (Dylan), and his two great grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Tipton, father John Dunlap, stepfather Kenneth Tipton, brothers Donald Dunlap and Bill Dunlap.
Ron will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his passion for golfing and cooking. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
