Richard Wayne Tracy, April 19, 1945 – December 13, 2014 Richard Wayne Tracy, 69, was born to Paul Tracy Sr. and Victoria Gotreau in Chelsea Massachusetts. Richard served in the United States Navy 1962 – 1963. He retired from Metal Container/Anheuser Busch in Columbus, Ohio where he worked as a machinist. He moved to Florida in 1989 where he started a second career in Food and Nutritional Services. He worked with many local hospitals, the last being Regional Medical Center, Bayonet Point. He was a member of the New Port Richey Seventh Day Adventist Church, the VFW Post 4412 and the American Legion Post 0173. He is preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his step father, Richard Graninger of Lindehurst, Illinois, loving and caring wife of 26 years, Carole Jean (Wonycott) Tracy of Hudson, Florida, brother Paul Jr. (Beverly) Tracy of Groveport, Ohio, step-sister Susan (Mark) D’Aloia of Gray Lakes, Illinois, brother in law Terry (Jessie) Wonycott of Belpre, Ohio, sister in law Angela Wonycott of Parkersburg, WV. Daughter Lisa (Matt) Henry of Sunbury, Ohio, step-sons Tod Beckett of Hudson Florida, Eric (Rose) Beckett of Washington, WV, Brett and Craig Athey of Huntington Beach, Ca, step grandson Anthony Eric Beckett, Richard enjoyed his home and rock gardens, fishing, cruising, music and karaoke – especially Doo Wop. Richard had a warm and open heart. He looked out for his neighbors and loved ones, always putting them before himself. He will be missed by many. Friends and family may call on Richard Wednesday December 17 at 4:00 p.m. at the New Port Richey SDA Church 6424 Trouble Creek Rd. New Port Richey, Florida Friends are invited to join in a meal after the service.
