Michael Wayne McCullough

Michael Wayne McCullough, 53, of Palm Harbor, FL, passed away on September 7, 2023. He was born on January 24, 1970, in Tulsa, OK, to Virginia Pickle and the late Gary McCullough.

Michael had a passion for the water and enjoyed scuba diving, riding his SeaDoo, and fishing. He had a knack for tinkering with things and always tried to fix or improve them, and 90% of the time he succeeded. He was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and was an enduring friend to many.

Michael attended Muskogee High School and later pursued a degree at Spartan School of Aeronautics. Michael was a successful real estate agent in Florida, where he developed many friendships through his business. He also worked for Budget Blinds in Clearwater. Early in his career, he was an IT professional for a major telecommunications company.

Michael was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Pickle; sister Ashley (Tim) Olson, nephew, Gavin and nieces Kaylen and Skylar; brother, Derek McCullough, nephew, Dylan, and niece Whitley; uncle, Byron Goff; and many loving cousins and great cousins; and girlfriend Celia Stickler.  Michael leaves behind a multitude of loving family and friends all over the world.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gary McCullough; stepfather, Duane Pickle; maternal grandparents, Albert & Margaret E. Johnson; paternal grandparents, Don and Jeanne McCullough; aunt, Margaret L. Farmer. 

A memorial service to celebrate Michael's life will be held on October 14 at 10:00AM at Cornerstone Funeral Home, located at 1830 N. York Street, Muskogee, OK  74403. Friends and family are invited to attend and share their cherished memories of Michael.
