Melissa Sue Collins

Melissa Sue Collins was born April 26,1968 to Paul and Susan Collins in Queens, New York. She spent her first few years living in New York, then moved to Georgia and then Florida. She spent many summer vacations visiting Nani, aunts, uncles and cousins in New York until they all joined her family in Florida. She attended Elfers Elementary, Gulf Middle and High Schools. She played soccer during her elementary and middle school years. Melissa was employed by Long John Silvers and recently retired from Sam’s Club as an Associate for 20 years. Melissa will be missed and remembered by all as a lovely girl, always wearing a smile , a loving mother and had a great love of cats. She is predeceased by her father Paul J Collins. She is survived by her mother, Susan, brother ,Michael (Trish), grandmother Angela and her sons Kevin and Matthew and adorable grand daughter Zoey. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30th, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Monday, October 1st, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, New Port Richey.
