Kenneth Lester Rhinehart

Kenneth Lester Rhinehart, 81, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on May 31, 2018. He was born on August 8, 1936, to Lester and Mary Rhinehart, and was raised in Circleville, NY. Ken was predeceased in death by his wife of 49 years, Alice Towers. He is survived by wife, Mary Clark; his daughters, Debra Williams and Jodi Rhinehart-Doty (David); brother, William Rhinehart (Lyn); numerous nieces; extended family; and three grandchildren, Harrison Williams, Kendall Doty, and Kelsey Doty. Ken graduated from Middletown High School in Middletown, NY, in 1955. He worked at Dairylea Milk Products in New York until he relocated to St. Petersburg, FL in 1977. In Florida he established his own lawn maintenance company. In New York, Ken was an officer and an active member of the Washington Heights Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid auto racing fan, loved camping, exploring new places, and enjoyed college football, especially the Florida State Seminoles. He also loved to spend time with family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel in New Port Richey, FL on Saturday, June 16th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations in tribute be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, www.michaeljfox.org.
