Joseph Martino

Joseph Ryan Sitterson Martino (“Joey”) (“Ryan”) Born November 13, 1984 – Died January 28, 2018, at the age of 33. Joey is survived by Brittany Marie Martino, his loving wife and children Shaylee and Gage Martino. Joey is also survived by his parents Pauline Martino (Sitterson) and Joseph Martino. He is also the loving grandson of Carol (Sue) Sitterson. There is also a large extended family that loved and cared for him very much. If you had the please of knowing Joey you would have noticed his big smile and hearty laugh. If there was a way he could help you and lend a hand he was there. There was always a story to tell when Joey was around. He loved to talk about his family and his job. He was a very proud man and worked in the HVAC profession since he was a teen under his dad’s tutelage. He and his wife spent countless weekends in Disney where they both loved to relax and have fun like kids. These are some of Brittany’s fondest memories of him. Some of the things he enjoyed doing were fishing, and watching football while rooting for his favorite team the Miami Dolphins. He also shared his love of the Florida Gators with his grandma. He was a dreamer and loved to throw ideas around with his wife and family hoping to run his own A/C business some day. Everyone he knew held a fond place in his heart. He loved his children and family more than he loved himself. Joey will also be remembered for his loyalty to his country. He served in the U.S. Navy from 2003-2007 on the USS Crommlin and that was one of his most rewarding accomplishments. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. with a service at 4:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family are appreciated.
