John Gerald Myers

1948 — July 22, 2019

John (Jerry) Gerald Myers passed away suddenly on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the age of 71, due to medical complications from a blood clot. A resident of Greenacres, FL, Jerry is survived by his two sons, John Christopher Myers, who lives in Waikoloa, HI with his family and Casey Jon Myers, who lives in Boynton Beach, FL with his two doggies. He is also survived by his two sisters, Donna Ryan and Karen Langston and his brother, Dennis Myers and his seven nieces and nephews, and four great-nephews and great-nieces. He also has three grandchildren, Joshua Myers, Jonathan Myers and Grace Perkins.

Born in Buffalo, NY on April 26, 1948 to John Myers (deceased) and Madelene Myers (age 91). Jerry married the love of his life, Christine Carol Konowalski on June 10, 1978 who is now deceased. They were happily married for 38 years. He served his country in the United States Army, was stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1971,  before settling in south Florida and becoming a chef and spending his career in restaurant management.

His passions, art and music, led to his professional exhibit in many local museums and festivals along with membership in local art organizations. His love of art, music and cooking was exceeded only by his love for his family, his cats, his devotion to Tina and his love for the Green Bay Packers.

A military service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019  at 2:45 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
