Joan Elaine Barone

Joan Barone was welcomed into her heavenly home on April 5, 2024. Joan was born May 7, 1941 in Riverside, NJ and blessed this Earth for almost 83 years. The last 35 of those years were spent in her happy places between New Port Richey and Sarasota, Florida. She lived life to the absolute fullest. She loved to travel, she loved to shop, she was a card shark who rarely lost a hand, and she made the absolute best meatballs and chocolate chip cookies that will never be matched. Joan was absolutely the best Mother and Grandmother and her children and grandchildren were all richly blessed to have had her in each of their lives. Above all else, Joan loved her family dearly, and she left a long list of people who will miss her immensely.
 

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; Anthony and Aretta Lattiere, 2 loving husbands; Edward Barone and James Barone and also 2 sons; Christopher Barone and Harry Lamb, Jr. 
 

She is survived by her fiance, Fred Neuman; son, Steven Lamb(Diane) and stepsons Greg Barone(Bill) and James Barone, Jr.; Sisters, Mildred Johnson and Aretta Warren; Daughter-in-Law, Sandra Stowe Lamb; Granddaughters, Tara Jaynes(Nathan), Teresa Clemons(Jon), Danielle Lamb, and Carolyn Gottel(Neal); Grandsons, Hunter Webb, Alex Barone(Jessica) and Tyler Barone; and Great-grandchildren, Lylah Jaynes, Lydia Jaynes, Lynlee Jaynes, Payton Clemons,Tanner Clemons, Brantley Watson, Caitlyn Gottel and Logan Gottel. 

A memorial service will be held in the Sarasota Venetian Park Estates Clubhouse Friday at 1:00.
