Donald Fulton Kenward

Don was the beloved husband of the late Mary M. Kenward (Fraser) to whom he was happily married to for fifty-two years.

 

He was the loving Father of Karen Kenward of Brockton, MA, James Kenward and Nanette Howard of Spring, TX and son Brandon, John Kenward of New Port Richey, FL, and Robert Kenward and his wife Marilyn of Brockton. He was the loving Grandfather of Kristen Rooney and her husband Michael of Stoughton, MA, Kaitlyn Kenward of Rockland, MA, Abigail Kenward, Annalise Kenward, and Joseph Kenward of Brockton and is also survived by his cherished nieces and nephews.

 

Born in Worcester, MA on April 13, 1939, he was the loving son of Irene (Fulton) and Norman Kenward of Spencer, MA. He was the loving brother of the late Ruth Kenward, Judy Careau, and David Kenward. He is also survived by his loving brother Douglas Kenward of Spencer, MA, his loving sister-in-law Jean Fraser, and his loving brother-in-law John Fraser of Plymouth, MA.

 

Don was a graduate of David Prouty High School in Spencer in 1957 and UMASS Amherst College in 1961. He was a computer operator for Abex, Elm Farm Foods, Walworth, and Boston City Hospital.

 

He served in the Navy stationed in California in the 1960s.

 

Don was an active communicant of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in New Port Richey, FL. He was a lifelong avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed many games at Fenway Park.

 

His funeral will be on Thursday June 1 at 10:30AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Brockton. Burial will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
