Christina M. Oglesby

June 23, 1972 — April 17, 2022

Christina Marie Oglesby, age 49, passed away peacefully with family on April 17, 2022, due to severe brain damage from a lack of oxygen. She was born June 23, 1972, in Decatur Illinois to Phyllis Jackson. Chrissy loved her family and music. She had about 100 favorite songs and they all meant something to her. She was extremely sentimental. Her heart grew bigger everyday as she found more in life to love, cherish and fight for. She would do and give anything for anyone. She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, friend, mother and especially Nana. She left an imprint with everyone she met. She made everyone laugh with her stories and lively, fiery nature but above all she left love. You never had to wonder if she loved you because she made it known in every sense. People talk about how strong others are and the accomplishments they have made throughout the years, and she made some major ones! When they said, “It runs in the family” she said, “This is where it runs out.” She made so many mistakes and choices so that her children did not have to suffer the same consequences. Her accomplishments were her kids. When she had Grandchildren, she found a new meaning and purpose in life. She will forever be a legendary Nana. Christina is survived by her mother Phyllis, brother Phillip, daughter and son in law Stephenie and Alan, two sons, Damien and Dustin and grandchildren, Lillyanna, Ariella and Samuel, and many cousins, nieces and nephews who she loved deeply. Please join us celebrating her life Thursday morning April 21, 2022, at 11am at Morgan Funeral Home, 6025 Trouble creek Rd. New Port Richey, FL 34653
